Little League Baseball, Football, Softball & Cheer at MAA!

Thank you for your interest in our little league sports programs at MAA. Each of our sports programs are organized under the nationally recognized leagues of Babe Ruth and POP Warner. MAA operated in coordination with other youth athletic associations in Jacksonville under these leagues to offer our young athletes the opportunity to first be taught how to play and then to compete for City, state, regional, and national championships within their sport and age group.

Below we have organized our registration information by sport to give you the information you need to register your child. For additional information, please visit each sport's respective page. Additional questions can be answered by contacting that sport's director. Each director's e-mail address can be found on our contact page. You may also speak directly to a registration official at registrations.

Mandarin Baseball & Softball Registration

Welcome to Babe Ruth / Cal Ripken Baseball & Softball at Mandarin Athletic Association.

Each Spring and Fall Baseball & Softball Season at MAA, we organize over 800 young athletes for our Spring and Fall Baseball & Softball Programs. With the exception of the holidays, our baseball and softball parks are a regular hub of activity.

MAA offers two Baseball and Softball seasons each year. Our Spring Ball Registration begins in mid December each year, and Fall Ball Registration begins in July. Each registration period is generally 60 to 75 days, and you can register either here online or at Burnett Park on the dates indicated below.

IMPORTANT NEW POLICY ABOUT LATE REGISTRATIONS!

IMPORTANT NOTE :UNFORTUNATELY WE WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO ACCEPT REGISTRATIONS AFTER REGISTRATIONS CLOSE!

IN THE PAST WE HAVE TRIED TO ACCOMMODATE ANY CHILD WHO WISHED TO PLAY, EVEN IF THEY WERE LATE TO REGISTER. HOWEVER IN THE INTEREST OF ORGANIZING TEAMS PROPERLY WITH THE CORRECT NUMBER OF PLAYERS, AND TO ENSURE THAT EACH CHILD IS PROVIDED WITH AN AMPLE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY, WE WILL NO LONGER ADJUST THE SIZE OF TEAMS AFTER THEY ARE FORMED BY ADDING LATE REGISTRANTS.

WE APPRECIATE YOUR UNDERSTANDING THAT THIS POLICY IS INSTITUTED AND WILL BE STRICKTLY INFORCED IN THE SOLE INTEREST OF EACH PLAYER.

Welcome to Jacksonville Little League POP Warner Football at Mandarin Athletic Association.

Each Fall Season at MAA, we organize hundreds of young athletes for our Football program at MAA. We regularly form multiple teams for ages 5 thru 15. We offer Instructional football; Tiny-Mite and Mitey-Mite football for ages 5 - 8. And our competitive football levels are: Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Midget & Midget are for ages 9 - 15.

Registration for football at MAA is $175 if you register before July. After July, registration will increase to $185. MAA football is tackle football with full pads and helmets. Equipment is provided by MAA and issued during the first few practices.

As we mentioned, MAA football is an officially sanctioned POP Warner program. As such we must honor our POP Warner geographic boundaries. If you live in Jacksonville's Southside (South of Baymeadows Rd, East of Southside Blvd., and South of J. Turner Butler, all the way to the inter-coastal) you are eligible under POP Warner Guidelines to play Tackle Football at MAA!

MAA refund policy for football: Drops prior to August 1st full refund. Drops prior to City Certification ½ of registration fees. Drops after City Certification will receive no refund. However, players who are injured before the 1st game may be refunded their registration at the discretion of the Football Director.

Welcome to Jacksonville Pop Warner Little League Cheerleading at Mandarin Athletic Association!

Cheerleading is an officially sanctioned POP Warner program for cheerleaders ages 5 thru 15. We offer Instructional Cheer, Tiny-Mite Cheer, and Mitey-Mite Cheer for ages 5 - 8. Our Competitive Cheer levels: Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Jr. Midget & Midget are for ages 9 - 15.

This year, MAA will offer online registration for Cheerleading. However, registration for Cheer is a bit more involved than our other sports mainly due to uniform ordering and sizing. Therefore, when you register online you will be charged $115 for registration fees, not including the cost of uniforms. Once you are registered, you will be contacted by our cheer director about uniform ordering and sizing. Uniform costs vary depending upon needs and whether the cheerleader will be on an instructional squad or a competing squad.

As we mentioned, MAA Cheerleading is an officially sanctioned POP Warner program. As such we must honor our POP Warner geographic boundaries. On Site registration for Cheer is held at our Greenland Park at the times below. Please bring with you copies of your child's birth certificate and a current utility bill to verify your current address.

MAA refund policy for Cheer: Because Cheer must order uniforms by June 1st, MAA will not offer refunds after this date. If a cheerleader drops prior to June 1st and uniforms have not been ordered, MAA will issue a full refund.
