Mandarin Athletic Association (MAA) is a local Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth Youth baseball association for boys and girls ages 4-15.
Each year, our association maintains approximately 600 players.
We offer spring and fall rec ball league, Advanced Baseball leagues and all-stars during the summer.
 
We currently offer the following leagues:
 
T-ball-Cal Ripken
* Minor T-ball-4-5 year olds or first time t-ball players
* T-ball 6-7 year olds
 
Rookie-Cal Ripken pitching machine league
* 8 year olds
MAA does allow 7 year olds to play up in the rookie division pending a tryout and space availability.

Minors-Cal Ripken
*9-10 year olds
 
Majors-Cal Ripken
*11-12 year olds
 
Juniors-Babe Ruth
*13-15 year olds
 
Please note that "league age" is the players date of birth on April 30th 2013.

 

Registration fees and dates are as follows:
 
December 1-January 20 $130.00 ($155.00 for the juniors division)
January 20-January 28 late registration $140.00 ($165.00 for the juniors division)
Registration closes at midnight on January 28th.
Any registration requests after the 28th will be $155.00 ($180.00 for the juniors division) and will pend on availability.
The cost for the juniors division includes the $25.00 opt out fee for the fundraiser.
All other divisions will be given the option to participate in the fundraiser or pay the $25.00 opt out fee.
Teams will also be required to participate in Family Fun Day on Saturday, March 2nd.
 
Parents can register on-line or on-site.
Our on-site registration days will be at Burnett Park in the room behind the concession stand on the following days.

MAA offers a sibling discount of $10.00, per sibling.
 
The cost of your registration fee helps maintain our beautiful facilities (Burnett and Greenland Park) and purchase equipment.

Practices will be begin the first week of February. Opening Saturday will be on March 2nd.
Some divisions may play on February 26th or February 28th. Each division will play approx. 12 games, plus an end of season tournament.
Opening Ceremonies (Family Fun Day) will be on Saturday, March 2nd.
Each team will be responsible for helping with the event. Coaches and team moms will provide information once the season begins.
